Project Description:

Construction of a land bridge and sea bridge with a link road of 14 KM long.

Work Include:

1 Sea bridge:
Construction of Sea Bridge, 702 LM length & 20 Mtr Width Dual Carriageway with 18 Spans. Around 14 Mtr above Sea bed Level.
a. Construction of piles of 1.6 Mtr Diameter and a total of 204 No’s with 17 Cross Head Beams.
b. Construction of Abutments on both Sides with 24 Piles.
c. Bearings installation, Installation of I-Section 432 No’s precast girders, and Deck Slab.
d. Construction of barriers and railings above the bridge.
e. Electrical lighting poles
f. Road layers, asphalting, curbstone, and interlock works.
g. Expansion joint works.
h. Traffic signs, road paintings and cat eyes installation.
i. Decorative works and riprap.

2 Land bridge:
Construction of Land Bridge, 320 LM length & 16.5 Mt Width Dual Carriageway with 11 Spans.
a. Piling Works
b. Construction of 4 abutments, foundations and walls.
c. Construction of 20 piers foundations, piers columns, and beams.
d. 242 Precast I-Section Girders with Deck Slab
e. Construction of MSE walls on both sides of the bridge ramps.
f. Waterproofing, and backfilling for the sub-structural works and ramps.

3 Road Area:
Total Length of 14 Km.
a. Construction of road layers.
b. Asphalt works.
c. Construction of barriers above RW and above bridge.
d. Electrical cables laying and Installation of lighting poles as well as substation works.
e. Curbstone and interlock works.
f. Traffic signs, road paintings and cat eyes installation.
